Welcome

1st Uxbridge Cubs is proud to be an active, fun pack. We cater for both boys and girls from the age of 8 till they go up to Scouts at around 10½.

We meet weekly during school termtime and often during the summer holidays as well.

Using the scouting method of working in sixes (small teams), we encourage the Young People to develop themselves physically, emotionally and spiritually as well as having a good time.

Fire Station Visit

This trip was organised by one of our young leaders, Sam, and gave us a chance to explore the services and facilities that the young men and women of LFB Hillingdon provide to the local community.

The cubs had the opportunity to see the fire engines, how they are used, why the fire brigade concentrate on domestic fire safety, and their favourite.... got to use the big hoses from the fire engine.

Cub Rifle Shooting 2007

Jack Smith, a member of 1st Uxbridge Cub Scout Pack, won the District Cub Scout Rifle Shooting competition with 93 points.

In second place was Alex Bateman of Perseverance Pack (87 points), and in third place was Ben Warwick of 1st Ickenham Cubs Congratulations to them all for some superb shooting.
